take a 5 minute
test drive
today

You can take a simple 5 minute test drive right now

Taking the system for a test drive costs nothing and you don't need to provide your credit card details nor provide any other payment details nor make any commitment to using the site you create.

Follow the simple steps below to see how easy it is to build a site for your organization:

Step Action

1

Create an account.

Click here and then click on "Create account".
A 'New Member Signup' form will appear. Enter the details as requested on the form. You don't need to enter your full address in the 'Address Details' link - just your state and suburb will suffice.
Note 1: Your password can be anything you want, consisting of letters and number and special characters but it must have at least one digit in it. i.e. a number between 0..9
Note 2: Write down your password somewhere safe in case you forget it.
After pressing OK on this form your account should be created.

2

After creating your account you should click on 'Sign in' to sign in to munchopia.
Enter your email address and the password that you entered in step 1 and press OK.

3

Create Site

After signing in you will be at the munchopia admin home page where you can see a summary of your profile. Create a new website by clicking on 'Add new FREE Venue Listing'  in the panel on the right marked 'Venue websites that I manage'. A new, unnamed website has just been created.

4

Edit Site

A new venue website will be listed called "Untitled Venue". Click on that to go the administration pages for that site.

5

Set up Venue Details

Click on General Details and set up the name of your organization, a motto/slogan and brief description. Anywhere you see an Image field with an Edit link you can click and upload an image.
Enter Contact Details and Location Details also - location details allows the location page on your site to produce a Google map that site visitors can print out to help them find your venue,

6

Add some menu items

Click on the icon to the left of 'Menu management' to manage your dining menus. A multi level hierarchy of product/menu categories is supported. Rename the category called "My First Category" to "Entrees" by selecting it and then clicking on the edit icon which looks like two cogs. Create some new categories like "Mains", "Desserts" by clicking on the folder icon with the P in it and a '+' sign and then filling in the category name.

7

Add some menu items

Click on each category and edit it to add new items to it. Select the category and click on the edit icon then choose 'Add Single size product' on the products section. The system supports the custom definition of multi sized products (eg., small, medium, large) but we'll leave that till later.

8

Preview Site

Now that you have performed some basic site configuration it's time to take a look at your site. Click on the 'Preview site' button to take a look at the site.

NOTE: The preview opens in a separate browser window so that you can keep your place in the admin pages. On some browsers you may see a yellow bar at the top of the window telling you that it has blocked a popup. You should right click on that bar and choose an option that always allows new windows to be opened from this site.
